Forecourt shop stocktaking
We come to your premises. On a filling-station site we count the retail shop and the stockroom that supports it — groceries, confectionery, soft drinks, and tobacco lines where they form part of the agreed brief. You will be given a detailed summary of cost and retail value of the stock on the day.
What is in scope — and what is not
Forecourt work for The Stocktake is a shop and stockroom stock count. Fuel in underground tanks, pump meters, wet-stock reconciliation systems, and any fuel-volume audit are out of scope. We do not offer fuel wet-stock counting as an add-on, and we do not agree fuel-tank work as part of a shop stocktake.
Inside the shop the method matches other retail sites: barcode scanning against your stock file where practical, otherwise a manual count of fixtures and back-stock. The site layout is usually compact — kiosk counters, gondolas, cold cabinets and a small stockroom — so the visit is planned around those retail areas only.
Why forecourt operators book a shop count

Transfer work uses the same independent approach as our business-transfer stocktakes. Regular shop counts sit under periodic stocktakes. We do not undertake pub, bar, restaurant, hotel, or alcoholic-drink wet-stock hospitality work.
