Business handover services
Business-transfer stocktakes
Buying or selling a retail business? Independent valuation for both sides, with cost and retail on the day.
Independent stocktaking led by our work in independent neighbourhood shops — convenience stores, off-licences, newsagents and grocery shops — along with the warehouses, online stockrooms and forecourt shops we also support. We count on site — barcode or manual, depending on your setup — and give you a detailed summary of cost and retail value on the day. To minimise disruption to your business, we carry out the stocktake quickly and efficiently.
We act on behalf of both the vendor and the purchaser to give an accurate, fair and unbiased valuation of the stock. We count all of the stock (held or invoiced by the client) at the retail price, and then we calculate the VAT and trade-recognised margins to arrive at a cost figure. Upon successful completion of each business-transfer stocktake, you receive a detailed summary of your stock by department with retail and cost figures, on the day.
You will be able to review the result to identify where improvement can be made, including monitoring slow-moving stock, profitable stock, out-of-date stock and possible theft.
Competitive low charges, no hidden extras, same-day reports. Quotes can save up to 25% against typical market charges.
