How long have you been stocktaking?
Counts are led by Adil, who has worked in stocktaking for over 30 years. Bucks Stocktakers Limited, the company that invoices, has traded since 2013.
What kind of businesses do you count?
Independent neighbourhood shops are the core of our work — convenience stores, off-licences, newsagents and grocery shops. We also count high-street shops, warehouses, online stockrooms and forecourt shops.
Do you work in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol?
Yes — and Liverpool, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds and all over the UK. We come to your premises, and we travel UK-wide when the job fits.
When do I get the figures?
You will be given a detailed summary of cost and retail value of the stock on the day.
Can you scan barcodes?
Yes. For a speedy, accurate count we use handheld EPOS barcode scanners where the site is set up for it. Where barcodes are missing we count manually.
Do you do manual stock audits and warehouse stocktakes?
Yes. Manual stock audits, warehouse stocktakes, business-transfer counts, and periodic or year-end counts are all available.
