Warehouse stocktaking
We come to your premises. We count warehouses and online-retail stockrooms so management, accountants, or parties to a sale have a clear stock-in-hand figure. You will be given a detailed summary of cost and retail value of the stock on the day.
Planning items we agree with you before the visit
Warehouse sites vary widely. Before the day we discuss the practical details for your premises rather than assuming one fixed company script. Typical planning points include:
- Count zones or locations — aisles, bays, racks, mezzanines, cages and quarantine areas
- Units of measure — each, case, pallet, weight or length, and how mixed packs are treated
- Method — barcode scanning against your file where labels allow, or a manual audit where they do not
- Stock movements — how receipts, despatches and picks during the count window are handled
- Exceptional stock — damaged, returns, customer-owned, or unlabelled lines
- Reporting — the summary format you need for accountants, buyers, or internal control
Those points are agreed per job. They are not published here as universal guarantees or as a single mandatory procedure for every warehouse.

Whether you have an online retail business, a warehouse, or a shop: a year-end stocktake for business tax returns, or a regular internal periodic stocktake, we aim to provide you with an accurate stock-in-hand figure. Barcode or manual on racking
For a speedy, efficient, accurate and detailed stocktake, we use handheld EPOS barcode scanners and software to collect the data. We provide reports catering to your stocktaking needs. Where labels are missing, unreadable, or the file is incomplete we switch to a manual stock audit. The choice follows what works on the racking and in the stock file you supply — not a one-size claim.
