Warehouse
Warehouse stocktaking
We come to your premises. We count warehouses and online-retail stockrooms so you have a clear stock-in-hand figure for management, year-end, or a business handover. You will be given a detailed summary of cost and retail value of the stock on the day.
How a warehouse count works
Before the day we agree access, stock layout, and whether barcode scanning against your stock file is practical. On site we work location by location. Variances can be discussed against the figures you supply. Reporting is adapted to what you need for accountants, buyers, or internal control — without inventing system claims we cannot verify.
Warehouse and online retail
Whether you have an online retail business, a warehouse, or a shop: a year-end stocktake for business tax returns, or a regular internal periodic stocktake, we aim to provide you with an accurate stock-in-hand figure. The same methods support business-transfer valuations where warehouse stock forms part of a sale.
- Standalone warehouses
- Online store pick-and-pack rooms
- Mixed shop-plus-warehouse sites
- Delivery-check and goods-in counts when they fit the job
Barcode or manual
For a speedy, efficient, accurate and detailed stocktake, we use handheld EPOS barcode scanners and software to collect the data. We provide reports catering to your stocktaking needs. Where labels are missing or the file is incomplete we switch to a manual stock audit.
